The Olympia Free Clinic experiences thousands of patient visits each year, and nearly 100% of our patients’ health care is delivered by volunteer providers. If you are interested in providing or facilitating this care with a team of dedicated and compassionate people, we would like to hear from you!

We are currently seeking both medically- and non-medically trained volunteers to join our team, including:

  • Medical Providers - we will discuss your interests and ability to be covered by malpractice insurance with you.

  • Mental Health Providers

  • Specialty providers - e.g. physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists

  • Pharmacists

  • Spanish interpreters

  • Registration and administrative volunteers

  • Fundraising, outreach, and marketing volunteers

  • Student interns

  • Other - do you have skills or interests to offer that are not listed here? Please get in touch!

becoming a volunteer

There are two initial requirements to become a volunteer:

(1) attend a volunteer orientation, and

(2) complete new volunteer paperwork.

Volunteer orientation is held monthly, on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm, at the Providence Community Care Center - 225 State Ave NE, Olympia, WA 98501. Entrance is on Franklin Street side of the building.

*If you are a licensed medical provider, please follow the link above to apply for malpractice insurance. If you are a certified medical provider or non-medical volunteer, there is no need to apply for malpractice insurance.
